It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our longtime friend and colleague, Chuck Cravens.

Chuck first joined the Versteel team more than 30 years ago as Shipping Supervisor and most recently as our Logistics Coordinator. Throughout his time with us, he took tremendous pride in his work, but the relationships he built along the way meant even more.

Those who knew Chuck will remember his kind heart, warm smile, positive spirit, and the little jokes he was always ready to share. His presence brought joy to our workplace, and his loss will be felt deeply throughout the Versteel family.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Chuck’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Today, we're spotlighting two team members who help keep Versteel running smoothly: Toby Ferguson and Matt Larson!

Toby joined Versteel in 2013 as an IT System Specialist and is the go-to resource for all things IT. He's known for his knowledge, helpful attitude, and great sense of humor.

Matt joined Versteel in 2022 as a Business System Analyst. Friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, he's a dependable problem solver who supports teams across the organization.

We're grateful for Toby and Matt and the expertise, dedication, and positivity they bring to Versteel every day!

It's Meet the Team Monday, and today we're spotlighting Mindy Breitwieser!

Mindy joined Versteel in July 2022 as a Kitter, where she helped prepare and organize components for welding. Today, she serves as the Co-Lead for Welding and Kitting, helping keep production moving and ensuring our welders have what they need to succeed.

Hardworking, dependable, and always willing to do what it takes to get the job done, Mindy brings a positive attitude to work every day. As her supervisor puts it, she keeps our welders busy and is phenomenal in her role as Co-Lead.

We're grateful for Mindy's dedication and everything she brings to the team!

Yesterday, we gathered together to celebrate Metal Operations Manager, Kerry Hochgesang, and the incredible legacy he leaves behind with our team.

Starting in 1978 as a skilled welder, he grew alongside the company and played a key role in shaping manufacturing operations over the years.

Congratulations on retirement, Kerry, and best wishes in this exciting next chapter!
