REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING! Official 2026 World Championship email invites just went out to all Qualifiers. If you Qualified for the WC and haven't registered yet, don't delay — registration closes Sunday, August 30! (Reminder: qualifying doesn't register you automatically — you still need to complete registration to compete.)

Haven't Qualified? You can still compete at the Last Chance Qualifier — no qualification needed, just register by the same deadline for your shot at earning a spot in the World Championship.

🌲🐾 Pacific Northwest disc dog fans — this one's for you!

If you won't be making it to Worlds this year, mark your calendars for Dog-O-Rama 2026 in beautiful Long Beach, Washington! The Skyhoundz DiscDogathon & Xtreme Distance Qualifier for 2027 takes place September 18-20 — so the stakes are real and the fun is guaranteed.

Dog-O-Rama is growing fast in its second year — three full days this time, with AKC tests, a Pup Parade, live music, and beachside fun. Disc dog fans will have plenty to watch (and play), with the Skyhoundz qualifier at Culbertson Park alongside an AKC UpDog Challenge portion of the event too. Only 60 spots are open for the Skyhoundz qualifier, so don't wait too long to lock yours in.

🎉 Turns out our community runs deeper than we knew!

Dog trainer and author Annie Grossman just published a wonderful essay about positive reinforcement — and it includes Peter Bloeme and Wizard the Border Collie on Late Night with David Letterman back in 1985. 📺🐾

A young man named Martin Levy watched that clip and was hooked. You may know Martin from Skyhoundz competitions and as a longtime Hyperflite customer — but he's also an orthopedic surgeon who went on to use those same positive reinforcement principles to revolutionize how he trains his surgical residents.
