Do not be shy. Do not take it personally.

When someone communicates differently, it doesn’t mean they’re avoiding you or pushing you. It simply means they’re wired differently.

Great leaders don’t expect everyone to communicate like them.
Great leaders adapt.

Most leadership conflicts are not about attitude… they’re about misunderstanding personalities.

People aren’t difficult.
They’re just different.
And if you don’t understand the difference, you’ll misread intentions, damage relationships, and miss opportunities to lead well.

One of the most powerful tools I teach in leadership development is DISC—because it helps leaders understand how people are wired.

Instead of asking:
❌ “Why are they so difficult?”

Ask:
✅ “How are they wired?”
Because when you understand people’s wiring…

You stop taking things personally.

Surnames, or family names, originated as a way to identify individuals more precisely than just their given names.

They began to develop in different cultures around the world during the Middle Ages when populations grew and communities needed a way to distinguish between people with the same first name.

The origins of surnames often reflect a person's occupation (e.g., Smith, Baker), place of origin (e.g., London, Hill), personal characteristic (e.g., Brown, Short), or the name of a parent (e.g., Johnson, meaning "son of John"). In many cultures, surnames became hereditary, passed from generation to generation, and eventually were formalized by governments for legal and administrative purposes.

Today, surnames carry significant cultural, familial, and historical weight. They often serve as a strong connection to our family and ancestors. This familial bond is a key aspect of our surnames.
