Facebook Business Suite alert:

If you use the Facebook Business Suite app on your smart phone, and you have tried to upload a reel and found that it wasn’t showing even after multiple attempts, you are not going crazy.

Apparently, there are some intermittent software bugs that are causing this problem to happen.

We even experienced this ourselves earlier this morning while publishing for a client. Finally, we have figured out the workaround.

WORKAROUND:

Instead of publishing it immediately, go in and schedule your post. That may seem inconvenient if you’re wanting to post right away, but usually you can post within 20 minutes of the current time that you’re working with.

When we tried this, it immediately showed up in scheduled posts, whereas before we weren’t getting anywhere.

So try this as a workaround. We understand that maybe some of you are not having this problem, and that makes sense since this appears to be an intermittent issue.

I know all of us are shocked that Facebook has had its first problem. Lol.

One thing is bad enough: **getting scammed.**

Getting scammed **again by someone pretending to be law enforcement?** That’s a whole different level of criminal audacity.

At **Mobile Tech Solutions**, one of the things we deal with far too often is helping people who have been victims—or *almost* victims—of cyber fraud, phishing, account takeovers, and other scams.

And here's something I wish more people knew:

**You don't have to lose money to report a scam.**

If someone tried to steal your information, guessed your password, attempted to access one of your accounts, impersonated someone, or tried to manipulate you into handing over money or data—you can report it.

Why bother?

Because **scammers are counting on you NOT bothering.**

Every report gives law enforcement another piece of the puzzle. The FBI aggregates reports to identify patterns, connect seemingly unrelated crimes, investigate criminal networks, and—when the evidence is there—help put these people out of business and behind bars.

You might never get a phone call telling you what happened with your report.

**Do it anyway.**

Because the scammer who tried to get *you* may have already tried it on 100 other people.

And your report might be the piece of information that helps investigators connect the dots.

🛡️ **Got scammed? Report it.**
🛡️ **Almost got scammed? Report it.**
🛡️ **Someone tried to break into your account? Report it.**

**Don't just block them. Don't just delete the message. Don't assume someone else will report it.**

Verizon Outage from Yesterday: UPDATE

Not really a lot to say about this. Around 13K people were affected according to them. However, this spanned over multiple states, so we feel it was more.

There is no other explanation from the company other than they identified and resolved the issue.

We will not speculate on what the ultimate root cause was. However, there is one thing you can count on. Mobile Tech Solutions makes every effort to inform you on outages like this. Because the phrase "No news is good news" does not always apply to every situation.

Especially IT matters.

Localized Verizon outage. ISSUE LARGELY RESOLVED

Approximately 30 minutes ago, residents in and around Marion County and parts of Upshur County surrounding Lake O The Pines, started to experience a problem.

That problem is is that you may have mobile data, but you can’t make a phone call. Rebooting your phone does not work. This is a Verizon network issue.

UPDATE: Verizon is now reporting the outage on their website. 

If you are at home, it is possible that Wi-Fi calling may work, but if it doesn’t, you’ll know why.

We do want to stipulate that not everybody is being affected by this and it is intermittent.
