🎉2026 Buck White Memorial Scholarship Recipient🎉

The Buck White Memorial Scholarship awards a onetime scholarship to a female athlete from Chesterfield High School for their first year of college, university or vocational-technical school.
Sandhill is proud to offer this $2,500 scholarship, in Buck’s memory, to foster and promote female athletics.

We are proud to announce that the winner of the 2026 Buck White Memorial Scholarship is Miss Jaylen Evans. Jaylen will be attending Newberry College in the fall of 2026 with the intended major of Neuroscience.

Jaylen has amassed a range of accomplishments throughout her high school career both academically and athletically. She was a member of the 2A Weightlifting State Championship Team, was the recipient of the Palmetto Girls State Scholarship and maintained a 4.2 GPA while being dually enrolled at Northeastern Technical College.
