Jen here, hopping on to say a great big THANK YOU to all of my customers who have had to wait a bit longer for their order, email reply, returned call, etc. I’ve spent the last month caring for my father-in-law, and today we celebrated his life at his memorial. I appreciate everyone’s patience while I navigated his care, bouncing between hospitals and home, and during his subsequent passing. I hope to spend a day or two catching up tomorrow and over the weekend and make a game plan to get everyone taken care of. I appreciate your continued grace as we work to get back on track.

Special shoutout to Nikki Happe for keeping me afloat and containing my crazy to get what we could get accomplished, in between hospital visits, doctor appointments, phone calls, and time out of the shop to care for him. She also helped run the store for three weeks, so she got her steps in running up and down them all day. I couldn’t have done it without her! Thank you, my sweet friend! Love you always!

Today marks 1️⃣3️⃣ years since I officially announced the opening of ShineOn designs! 🎉

This job has taken me to some pretty cool places - Honduras, Barbados, and Washington D.C. to name a few of my favorites - and has transformed me in ways I never imagined.

Most importantly, through my entrepreneurship and small business owner journey, I have met the MOST AMAZING people. Small business owner acquaintances who have become cherished friends, customers who have become family, and the most incredible employees who make my hardest days worth the fight.

I have such deep gratitude for everyone who has supported ShineOn in big and small ways. Thank you, thank you. Two words seem so inadequate to express how appreciative I am.

Here’s to hoping this next year is our LUCKIEST one yet! 🍀
