**Availability:** Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays from 2 AM to 7 AM.
π **Emergency Response:** Ability to make emergency runs within 3 hours, 24/7.
π **Equipment Requirements:**
- Trailers must be equipped with safety bars, belts, or hooks capable of securing carts weighing approximately 600 lbs. and up to 6' high.
- Each trailer (sized 40, 45, or 48 feet long) must be able to transport no less than 36 carts at one time (size of each linen cart: 67β high x 29β wide).
- All trailers will be properly locked during linen transportation.
- Trailersβ interiors should be constructed of a non-absorbent material such as steel, aluminum, fiberglass, etc.
- One trailer to be located at each Medical Center listed in Section A (not to include Salvation Army Menβs shelter). A total of 8 trailers are required to collect soiled linens, and another 5 to be located at the Textile Care Facility for the loading of clean linen.
- The final total minimum number of required trailers for this contract is 13.
π **Contract Duration:** From March 31, 2024, to March 29, 2025.
