This weeks Meant To Be Estate Sale is in Belmont. We're pleased to host the Goodall Estate. They built this home and lived there for 62+ years. Quite an accumulation of great antique & vintage treasures. It's filled with quilts, electronics, tools, books, old cameras, old pottery, linens, vintage toys and a TON more. Busy month for Meant To Be!! Watch for our upcoming sales. We are working on a great clean sale in Jenison , pictures to be posted very soon. Sale is set for May 17,18 and 19th. Meant To Be, LLC will be having their next estate sale on Friday, March 30th (9am-5pm) & Saturday, March 31st (9am-4pm). PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY A 2-DAY SALE! We'll be at the North Valley Condos in Grand Rapids off Plainfield & 5 Mile.

Meant To Be, LLC will be hosting another great estate sale in north Grand Rapids.

DESCRIPTION:
This estate has wonderful ceramic art pottery; quality vintage Kindel furniture and furnishings; great Mid-Century Modern pieces; a load of crystal, china, flatware, and so much more!

The homeowner, Ruta Purins (in her late 80's) downsized and has moved back home to Latvia to be closer to her family. Purins was an amazing exhibited ceramic/pottery artist from her late 20s into her 70s. Her family gave her work the nickname "Ruta Pots". You'll find they are modern, abstract, whimsical and wonderful with native Latvian designs. Not only was she creative with pottery, but loved Latvian textiles and created charming pieces, pillows, tablecloths, runners and more. Not sure where Latvia is? Between Lithuania & Estonia.. one of three Baltic countries. Can you read Latvian? We've got one heck of a lot of books about history, poetry, pottery, fiction, and much more.

Ruta's husband was a long-time employee of the Kindle Furniture Company here in Grand Rapids. You'll find the house full of Kindle furniture & furnishings. Dining Tables, Chairs, Bedroom Furniture, Mirrors, Servers, Sideboards, China Cabinets and so much more!! You'll also find several "project pieces" including an assortment of Kindel hardware.
