Funny seeing these picture. They were the last pictures I took before waking up in a complete nightmare. I left the salon thinking that my balance was just a little off. I went to the hospital hoping to be let go in enough time to get on the road to ATL, but that never happened. Why? Because I woke up paralyzed.

This happened to be the day that my life changed forever. After spending 6 months in the neurology ward at BJC, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In 1 day, I lost my business and my children had to be shifted from one family member's house to the next. My mind was all over the place, and just like that, my life changed forever.

But guess what? God never let me go. I mean, even through the toughest times in my life, he kept me. This was a brief reminder that no matter what life challenges you happen to face, whatever darkness you may be stuck in, the Lord will provide and sustain you. The road always leads back to glory if only you would allow him to be the director of your path.

Yes, pain hurts, but pain also creates strength. Be encouraged.
