Guinn Auction Company was honored to donate our auction services and conduct the live auction at the American Cancer Society Black & White Gala in Lafayette Saturday night.

This cause is especially meaningful to the Guinn family. Our founder, John E. Guinn, lost his battle with brain cancer a little over two years ago. To have three generations of our family represented and to use the auction profession he loved to help raise money in the fight against cancer made it an incredibly special evening.

Thank you to the American Cancer Society, everyone who worked to make the Black & White Gala possible, and especially those who opened their hearts and generously supported such a worthy cause.

We were honored to be a part of it.

Thursday night, Guinn Auction Company had the honor of conducting the live auction for Dreams Come True of Louisiana.

Of all the benefit auctions and fundraisers I’m fortunate enough to be a part of, this one truly means something special to me. Dreams Come True does incredible work helping grant wishes and create unforgettable memories for Louisiana children facing life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Mrs. Becky Prejean does an amazing job every year bringing this event together, and you can see the heart, time, and dedication that goes into making the night a success.

Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, volunteered, sponsored, and gave so generously. It’s always incredible to see what can happen when a community comes together for a cause that truly matters.

We’re proud to play a small part in it, and I’m already looking forward to next year.

Thank you, Dreams Come True of Louisiana, for allowing Guinn Auction Company to be part of such a special night.
