Check out our Chief Program Officer, Alexander Chase, and HIPPY Program Coordinator, Tiffany Parrish, standing alongside representatives from some amazing community organizations throughout Martin County! 💙
We’re thrilled to continue building strong community partnerships and especially excited to work alongside Nicole King, the new Executive Director of Little Lights Dentistry! Congratulations, Nicole! 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped us start the school year off right. We’re grateful for our community partners, families, and supporters who continue to show up and make a difference for children and families throughout Martin County.
Here’s to a wonderful school year and even greater collaboration ahead! 📚✨
What does the dentist have to do with school readiness? Everything. 💙
Recently, our Executive Director Nicole King joined an event for families enrolled in HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters), one of our community partners. HIPPY works with local parents to prepare their preschoolers for school at home, with parents as their child's first teacher.
Nicole tabled, met the families, and spoke about the part of school readiness that happens in a dental chair. Kids learn better when their mouths don't hurt. And for uninsured, income-eligible kids, every visit at Little Lights is free from their first birthday through high school graduation.
Thank you to HIPPY and every family who stopped by the table. Raising school-ready kids takes a village, and we're proud to be in yours.✨
