What does the dentist have to do with school readiness? Everything. 💙

Recently, our Executive Director Nicole King joined an event for families enrolled in HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters), one of our community partners. HIPPY works with local parents to prepare their preschoolers for school at home, with parents as their child's first teacher.

Nicole tabled, met the families, and spoke about the part of school readiness that happens in a dental chair. Kids learn better when their mouths don't hurt. And for uninsured, income-eligible kids, every visit at Little Lights is free from their first birthday through high school graduation.

Thank you to HIPPY and every family who stopped by the table. Raising school-ready kids takes a village, and we're proud to be in yours.✨

July was a joyful month for our Martin County HIPPY Program! Families came together for Music & Movement and group meetings filled with learning, laughter, and connection. Thank you to .people.succeed for partnering to provide these classes.
A special thank you to for recognizing early learning as a priority and bringing this evidence-based program to our community.

We are also excited to celebrate reaching our goal of serving 60 families—with nearly 10 additional enrollments scheduled! We are incredibly proud of our HIPPY team and grateful to the families who make this program so special. 💙💜

At Family Empowerment Project, we believe great service means always striving to do better. That's why we go above and beyond contract requirements by reaching out to our clients every month to ask how we can improve.

We're incredibly proud to share that 100% of the 178 clients surveyed said they would recommend our Brevard Healthy Start Program to others.

Hearing that our services are making a meaningful difference for families is the greatest measure of success. Thank you to every family who has trusted us to be part of your journey; we are honored to serve you. 💙
