Here's the thing: There is no path to perfect happiness; we have to make compromises and learn to be satisfied and thankful, which is what truly matters at the end of the day. A huge shout-out to those who are suffering, struggling, and hustling – don't worry! Keep progressing and find happiness and contentment in what you do!

"Amazon's Small and Light Program to be Replaced by Low-Price FBA: What Sellers Need to Know"

As most of the Amazon sellers are aware that Amazon is discontinuing its Small and Light program on 29th of August, 2023 and introducing the Low-Price FBA program as its replacement. The SnL program provided sellers with lower fees for shipping small, lightweight items. While the specific reasons behind this decision have not been disclosed, it is likely due to the increasing cost of shipping.

This change will impact all Amazon marketplaces, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and India.

The Low-Price FBA program will be available in all the marketplaces however, there may be variations in shipping costs and eligibility depending on the specific marketplace.

Here are the key differences between the Small and Light and the Low-Price FBA program:

Price Threshold: The Low-Price FBA program has a price threshold of $10, lower than the Small and Light program's $12 threshold. Products priced above $10 won't qualify for the lower shipping costs in the new program.

Weight or Dimensions Limit: The Low-Price FBA program has no weight or dimensions limit, while the Small and Light program had a weight limit of 3 pounds and dimensions limit of 18 x 14 x 8 inches. This means sellers can offer a wider variety of products with varying sizes & weights.

Shipping Costs: Sellers in the Low-Price FBA program can save up to 20% on shipping costs, compared to potential 50% savings in the Small and Light program.

To prepare for the transition, small and light sellers can take precautionary measures:

Reevaluate Product Selection: Focus on selling products eligible for the Low-Price FBA program to benefit from lower shipping costs.

Consider Price Adjustments: For products not qualifying for the new program, consider modest price adjustments to offset increased shipping costs.

Offer Discounts: Mitigate the impact of higher shipping costs by providing appealing discounts to customers.

Collaborate with Amazon: Work with Amazon to explore opportunities for reducing shipping expenses.

The discontinuation of the Small and Light program will affect sellers differently. Those offering eligible products for the Low-Price FBA program will experience less impact than others. However, all sellers should proactively prepare for the changes to minimize challenges.

Here are some additional tips to mitigate the impact:

Plan Ahead: Start planning early to ensure a smooth transition before August 29, 2023.

Stay Informed: Monitor Amazon's dedicated page for updates on the changes.

Utilize Seller Central Help Center: Find valuable resources to understand the changes and mitigate their impact.

By taking proactive steps and staying informed, sellers can navigate the shift from the Small and Light to the Low-Price FBA program effectively, ensuring continued success on the Amazon platform.

🌟 Surround Yourself with Protective People 🌟

Life is too precious to be surrounded by people who don't protect and uplift you. True friends and loved ones act like a shield against negativity, supporting you through thick and thin. If you find yourself in relationships that don't provide this protection, it's time to consider making changes.

Toxic friendships can drain your energy and affect your well-being. Take a step back and assess the dynamics of your relationships. Letting go of those who don't contribute positively is okay. Surround yourself with caring individuals who inspire, respect, and encourage you to grow.

Building a strong support system enriches your life and empowers you to face challenges with confidence. Seek out new connections, join like-minded groups, or reconnect with old friends who've always been there for you.

Remember, you deserve love, kindness, and protection. Embrace the journey of finding the right people who uplift and defend you. Let go of those who bring you down and make room for those who cherish your well-being.

Life is short, so choose your inner circle wisely. Surround yourself with people who genuinely care, and you'll discover a world filled with love, support, and endless possibilities. ❤️🤗

To Amazon Suits,

Amazon 3rd party sellers make up about 60% of retail sales. This trend will only continue to grow as we move into 2023, I would like to provide some feedbacks aggregated from my fellow sellers small and big.

1) Seller Support Experience – It is simply a mess, a complex case gets thrown into 10+ different agents and each person with different signature titles… going back and fourth for weeks.

Amazon Seller Support, Case Management Specialist, Escalation Resolution Specialist, on and on. Once a case gets escalated, it should be assigned to one person and that agent should be held accountable to actually fix the issue in a timely manner. This is very time consuming for most sellers to work on this instead of actually growing their business.

Recent cases of issues with asins took us roughly 5-6 weeks for one asin. Now, you multiply that across 10000+ skus x 100000 sellers, that’s a lot of sales lost for taking so long to fix/reactivate an asin that seller support goes in 5 different departments to diagnose the issue.

Almost every seller agrees that seller support is a nightmare to deal with. This can be optimized down to 1-2 weeks max to resolve issues.

When a seller reports another seller abuse,it does not get taken seriously. I had seen a case where a seller publicly reported a seller abusing code of conduct, and they were the one that got warning from Amazon. There must be a better process of investigations.

Amazon is the best marketplace, and the standard currently is not great.

2) Dedicated catalog team to fix asin related restrictions that can actually explain how to reinstate. A lot of the times the responses are *due to our policy* we cannot fix it. Meanwhile the seller hasn’t done anything wrong or raise any flags for it to be removed. Hence, the product limitations back in early 2022 with many sellers being blocked on many asins despite being approved on the brand already. Half the asins blocked and the other half can sell? Makes no sense. Another example is the *Your account does not qualify error* pertains to brand approval

The algorithm was introduced and even seller support had no clue what to say aside from pass it on internal team. Almost every issue is routed into internal team with regular seller support not able to do anything. Sellers could apply for some big brands but auto denied on others. There is no consistency.

3) Section 3 suspensions have gone wild and no one at Amazon can reinstate or provide a path forward. False related suspensions – if a seller provides proof that they are not related, then there must be a better way to reinstate. Algorithm and internal metrics can be wrong based on context and real-world situations.

4) Auto prepaid returns label program – Currently there is 0 transparency on how Amazon calculates how much the return label is when a buyer initiates the return, just auto bills seller account. This leads to some items being overcharged for return label that doesn’t make any sense. It would just cost a seller $10-15 dollar to return but Amazon charges $40-50? Seller Support cannot explain. In addition to unclear return label charges, if a buyer returns more than 1 unit, the system only issues 1 label, cannot do more than 1 label right now. This affects customer experience as they are paying a lot for a return label when it should be way cheaper.

5) A to Z claims process – Why are customers able to just instantly file for a claim refund without even contacting the seller once? As Per Amazon’s policy, this is either due to poor training or just simply laziness on customer service agents.

6) False counterfeit complaint – Why does Amazon forces seller to provide LOA otherwise it will not be considered valid appeal? Whereas counterfeit without test buy accepts the appeal no issues. Amazon’s IP policy states that they do not enforce distribution agreement. False proof of counterfeit from rights owner is not real proof.

7) Inauthentic complaint – Unable to verify supplier. Asking sellers to provide supplier suppliers is almost impossible, Amazon’s invoice denial rate has gone way up since Jeff left.

😎 Pricing alerts – sellers have to deal with increase cost of goods and inflation as well, when Amazon raises fees, sellers should be able to raise without being blocked constantly and submitting an appeal to seller support is impossible. Due to our policy, the listing will stay blocked despite no other seller selling it. Why is there no protection when an item is sold for way lower? Low pricing alert? An item that historically sells for $150 , and selling it for $20…

9) Redesigning Seller central – Instead of spending the budget to make the seller central look better, or the automated system in seller central to auto resolve issues (it doesn’t), can we prioritize improving seller support resolution? Sellers need faster solution to fix actual issues, the longer it takes to fix issues, the more money and resources lost. An answered case does not mean the issue is resolved, new metric based on resolution, not how many cases are answered.

10) FBA lost & damaged inbound - Receipts are being denied as not valid proof of purchase. This is false and it is valid. Even invoices are being denied for a supplier not being verified despite providing proof of it being verified. Many sellers complain about not being reimbursed for lost shipments to Amazons warehouse.

11) FBA restocking limits – Amazon had said that it had too many warehouses then suddenly reduce inventory for many sellers. Communication has been horrible as stated by many sellers.

12) Clarity on receipts vs invoices – Receipts are valid proof of purchase. Can we have some love for RA/OA sellers instead of just brand owners?

13) Release seller funds – Many sellers have had their funds held despite providing proof of delivery and everything. There should be no reason to continue holding after 90 days agreed on the policy. Sellers need to pay inventory/debt/employees too.

14) Doug Herrington and Andy Jassy escalations? Emergency to resolve critical issues in 24hours

15) Additional awareness from customers – I feel like most customers do not even know 3rd party sellers exist on Amazon? Promotions and awareness campaign would be great to support more small businesses as they are the one that fuels the customers luxury experience.

I do believe that Amazon is doing the right things overall most of the time and there are many to be improved upon. AI and algorithms aren’t 100% accurate and Amazon needs to acknowledge this to address outliers as we continue to live in the automated world. If Amazon takes these suggestions, I believe it will greatly benefit. Seller trust as it has been low for decades.

BEING POOR MEANS "Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly" - P.O.O.R.

A great man once said "if you take all the money in the world and distribute them equally among poor people, after a while all the money will go back to the original owners". Why? It is simply because “the poor are mainly CONSUMERS and the rich are mainly INVESTORS”. Emphasis mine.

2. The great man further wrote “show me a POOR man and I will show you a man who is -

P - Passes
O - Over
O - Opportunities
R - Repeatedly.

3. The poor man is “a man who sees challenges in every opportunity instead of seeing opportunity in every challenge.

4. Being a MAN is not a title, it is a responsibility. It means you have to answer financially in the
M - Morning
A - Afternoon and
N - Night.

5. You must take great risks to receive greater rewards.
You must plan and strategize, you must value profit not wages, you must be focused and you must be determined if you want good success.

6. Last but not least, You must involve God.

7. "The worst people on earth to serve are the POOR PEOPLE"

See the reasons below:

1)Give them for free, they will think it is a trap.

2)Tell them it is a small investment, they will say you can not earn much.

3)Tell them to come in BIG, they will say "I don't have any money".

4)Tell them to try new things, they will say "no experience; has it been proven to work? Who has gained from it before?".

5)Tell them it is a traditional business, they will say "it is too HARD to do".

6)Tell them it is a new business model, they will say "I don't do network marketing and how many years has this business model been existing?".

7)Tell them to run a shop, they will say "I will be tied down, I will have no freedom".

8)Tell them to follow a 1-year business plan, they will say "it is too long. Please, I cannot wait for so long".

9)Ask them what can they do? They will say "I can do ANYTHING".

10)They like to ask friends who are as hopeless as themselves to get their opinions. Even the Holy Book acknowledges the fact that blind people don't lead blind people.

11) They think more than a University Professor and do less than a blind man.

Penny wise, Pound foolish.

One major challenge POOR people have is "LACK OF ACTION!"

A. They enjoy their comfort zone, dwelling and swimming in their "own type of knowledge".

B. Anything beyond their reason "cannot work, and therefore it is fraudulent"

Remember: It is RISKY to take a RISK, but it is even RISKIER not to take any risk at all.

BE POSITIVE
BE SMART
BE PRO-ACTIVE
Learn to try out new things.

The world is not ruled only by prayer warriors but by mental warriors. Thinking is the highest paying job in every field.

Make out time to think CREATIVELY & STRATEGICALLY.
May God Almighty, guide and bless us accordingly.

A Harvard University researcher found that when a person gets a job or a promotion, 85% of the time it is because of his attitude, and only 15% of the time because of intelligence and knowledge of specific facts and figures.

That said, it is surprising that almost 100% of education money goes to teaching facts and figures, which account for only 15% of success in life.

Follow Simon Sinek and his amazing philosophy towards Life, Education, Leadership, Success Principle, and many more of his offerings to a better world.

He also resonated with this great finding of Harvard and quoted to employers :

"You don't hire for Skills, you hire for Attitude. You can always teach Skills."
