📦 What Is Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP)?
SFP is a program where sellers store and ship inventory themselves (not through Amazon's warehouses) but can still display the Prime badge on their listings as long as they meet Amazon's fast delivery standards. So the seller handles their own shipping, but customers still get Prime-level fast delivery.
What Just Changed?
Effective July 6, 2026, Amazon raised the delivery speed threshold for SFP eligibility:
📌 Before: Standard-size items only needed to show a 1-day delivery date on 30% of Prime page views.
📌 Now: That requirement has increased to 40%.
What This Means:
If you're an SFP seller, you now need to offer 1-day delivery more consistently to maintain Prime eligibility. Occasional fast delivery is no longer enough. Amazon is now measuring consistency.
⚠️ If your current fulfillment/logistics setup isn't fast enough, you risk losing SFP eligibility — meaning your Prime badge disappears, directly hurting sales, since Prime customers tend to trust non-Prime listings less.

**Amazon FBA Storage Fees Just Increased!**

Starting **July 1, 2026**, Amazon's updated FBA storage fees are putting even more pressure on sellers' profit margins.

**New Monthly Storage Rates**
✅ Standard-size units: **$0.87 per cubic foot** (January–September)
✅ Standard-size units: **$2.40 per cubic foot** (October–December)

With **Q4 approaching**, now is the time to rethink your inventory strategy.

Instead of sending your entire inventory to FBA, consider keeping reserve stock in a **trusted U.S. warehouse** and replenish Amazon as needed.

This strategy can help you:
✔ Reduce FBA storage costs
✔ Avoid long-term storage fees
✔ Stay in stock throughout Q4
✔ Use **FBM** to capture sales whenever FBA inventory runs low
✔ Improve inventory flexibility and cash flow

**Pro Tip:** FBA is still one of the best fulfillment options for many products
