No matter what you're looking for, when it comes to looking for a piano for your home, music department, concert, restoration, moving, tuning, storage, minor or major repairs; WE DO IT ALL!
Our inventory consists of few pianos; However, what we do offer for sale from our shop isn't for everyone. Our show floor pianos are few, but in-house antique, highest end, and restored to perfection. We only chose a few a year to restore for sale, and they are very top of the line pianos that we put our very reputation on the line for. They are of the highest quality craftsmanship, and rebuilt to perfect spects.
Our restoration shop is beyond messure. We do all repairs, partial restorations, and full rebuilds.
Our moving service has nearly 20 thousand piano moves under its belt. The owner goes on every moving job. We, then offer discounted tuning bundles with every move.

Delivered today. This beautiful Blüthner 1940 built baby grand. Structurally rebuilt and Action rebuilt to Blüthner specs and parts. Case finish is original; However, we buffed it to the best possible condition that it could be without refinishing. Delivered today to the 1st Lutheran Church of Odenton, MD.

This Steinway model A has been restored to specs. It was originally built in 1887, but perfected in 2024. It is currently seeking a home where it will be appreciated as for what it is (a spectacular instrument); But also, a truly brilliant piece of art and real piece of art.
As far as the instrument; It is perfect. I have a 10 year warrantee on it, which is more than what Steinway typically puts on their own.

I offer the first tuning free after the first 2 weeks post delivery.

Yes! We DO also do high end refinishings on antique furniture! This is a very old oak dining table top that we we just got done refinishing. This table was stripped, sanded, grain filled 3 times, stained to match, toned, topped with around 12 coats of top coat finish, and hand sanded and rubbed to a perfect whopping 7000 grit paper degree before polish. We only put out top quality products. Whether it be our perfect piano restorations or our furniture refinishings. You can't beat us.

This 1891 Steinway & Sons Model B is now finish for our client. This piano was rebuild with all Steinway parts from top to bottom, and regulated to specs. What a gem, this piano has become.

When we rebuild pianos, we make them better than they ever have been. That is our goal, and we always have accomplished that goal; and, we will always continue to.

This particular piano go "the works". It got a new ebony finish, a new Soundboard, Block, Renner Action, Nickel plating, Bronzing of plate and hand stenciling, 2.0 Nickel pins with Mapes bass strings and piano wire, restructuring and notching of bridges with new bridge pins, etc, high end German keytops, re-ebonized sharps,...... and on and on and on.

At American Piano Center, you can only expect the best. From in-home tuning, to white glove professional piano moving, to better-than-it-EVER-was restoration!! We do it ALL!

This 1901 Steinway B is being equipped with a brand new soundboard! What a pleasure it is to bring this gem a new life!

A special thanks to Piano Craft for allowing us access to their Pneumatic Press while ours is being borrowed out of state.

Much work is yet to be done on this piano, but the tone of this board is sounding excellent!

Total restoration update on this family heirloom client Kimball Baby Grand. We will be stringing in its new, perfectly fit and bored pin block, tomorrow. I sent these pictures to my client to update her and she said that she never thought that her piano could ever look this great!

A newly restored soundboard, bridges, etc. A new decal, before and after laying on of a final soundboard finish over the new decal. We used a new kind of varnish for the board to give it optimal acoustics and a beautiful glistening look.

We finished fitting the new pin block yesterday, and will begin string this week. We can't wait to show the before and afters of this remarkable transformation of this 1930s Kimball Baby Grand!
