Happy New Year!! We've had a lot of overcast days on the weekends (or so it seems!) but this past weekend was bright and sunny! My sister and I spent part of New Years Day on Jekyll Island. Each time I go, I realize that I should take advantage of being so close to the coast and the beautiful island more often. December through the 1st week of January is "holiday island" on Jekyll with lots of lights. The historic district buildings are decorated beautifully. The rest of the decorated areas are anything from the 12 Days of Christmas to GA Bulldogs logos to shrimp in the trees! In January and February, plastic balls are hidden throughout the public areas of the island. If you find one (with a note inside indicating an Island Treasure), you take it to the visitor's center to receive a glass globe, hand made by US artisans. Early on in my digital photography era, I didn't offer any digital packages. Later, when I did offer digitals some clients chose to only purchase physical prints. I do have them archived but I know that hard drives can fail. I'd like to make them available to those who want them. If you are interested in purchasing a thumb drive with your digital files from your wedding or portrait session, please let me know. $100 plus tax/shipping (where applicable) for weddings. $40 + tax/shipping (where applicable) for 1 portrait session. $75 + tax/shipping (where applicable) for 2 or more portrait sessions.

Engaged 2020 - They chose Jekyll Island for their photoshoot which I love! Wishing them the best as they make plans for their fall wedding. This year has been a doozy for wedding planning. Hopefully by fall things will have settled down a bit. Wishing you God's best!

I did a photo session with them 2 years ago and it's amazing to see how much children change. And they added a sweet little man to their family this year! Some of you have asked about buying a calendar featuring my Italy photos. I haven't gotten any printed due to a couple of factors, the main one being that I have to print many to get a good price and if they don't sell, I have a bunch of calendars that are only good for 1 year. :) So...I've set up a calendar on Zazzle that you can order if you want. I don't make any $ off of them, but that's not a big deal to me.
