As firefighters, we hold especially close the 343 FDNY firefighters who answered the call and never returned home. They ran toward danger while others were running to safetyโ€”showing the true meaning of courage, service, and sacrifice.
We remember every innocent life lost, every first responder who gave everything, and the families who continue to carry their memory.
