Did you know that Jim Thorpe personally preferred May 28, 1888, as his birth date?
He consistently used it throughout his life, including on his World War I draft registration and in his official biographies. However, his baptismal certificate at the Sac and Fox Agency in Oklahoma lists May 22, 1887, as his birth date.
Today, I am honored to celebrate him here at his mausoleum in town and to recognize his preferred birthday, May 28.

One of my patents that means so much to me: “The Frog.” 🐸🎒patent D998,962 S …My Frog backpack was specially designed to help support better posture and reduce back strain while carrying heavy items. The front chest cross-support helps keep your back in a healthier position and provides extra support during daily use.
I created this posture-correcting backpack after struggling with severe back pain following my car accident and long recovery treatment. I needed a smaller, more supportive bag because bigger backpacks only made me carry more weight and caused more pain.
As a child, I loved playing with frogs 🐸, lizards🦎, and turtles 🐢, but we always returned them to the places where they belonged, the pond, the forest, or the mountains. That memory inspired the design and spirit of this bag.

Honoring the military who were in service and who didn’t make it back home … every year in the US , on Memorial Day the meaningful tradition is the National Moment of Remembrance , a nationwide 1-minute pause at 3:00 PM to honor the brave men and women who never made it home from the front lines.
Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country, and to keep their families in our thoughts and prayers. Because of their sacrifice, we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have today. 🇺🇸

🙆‍♀️ 🥾🥾 One of my favorite patented shoe designs, now a favorite in foot therapy, was born after my car accident.
While dealing with back pain, I created these shoes during COVID as I prepared for my international shows. I kept thinking about the amount of work ahead: moving trailers, lifting heavy boxes, wearing construction gloves, surviving on little sleep, and still stepping on stage smiling and looking like a princess. 👸🏼 👑👱🏻‍♀️🥾🥾🙌🏻
These shoes carried me through some of the hardest days and helped me wake up ready for the next one without back pain. If they could talk, the stories they would tell would be unbelievable… just like the journey behind perfecting my coffee bean sole formulation. It took many changes and adjustments until I finally created exactly what I wanted. 🥾🥾☕️🫘✍🏻

👱🏻‍♀️👌My very first designs …When I first introduced this design at one of the biggest shows in the country, I was nervous about using red during winter because I noticed most American women wore dark tones that season.
I remember telling my husband in my broken English, “Dave, I’m afraid to produce red…”
And he said, “If you love red, go for it. Just do it.”
Today, it’s still one of lots of artists on stages favorite pieces because dam they are sooo comfortable & excellent quality ❤️ still artists on stage favorite to this day. Timeless, comfortable, and made to stand out with every outfit. ♻️🔄🔁
