Last weekend, I found myself asking three small business owners if they had IG before deciding if I wanted to place an order. They didn’t. So I didn’t. I wanted to support, but I also wanted to see all my options.

Isn’t that what a website is for? Yes it is, but 54% of browsers use social media to research products before even checking out a company’s website.

While focusing on growing your IG following is a good measure... presenting your products and services in a way that incentivizes your CURRENT audience to engage with you and eventually become your clientele, is way more important than the number of likes on any given post.
