It's been a tough week here at WWR. One of our best employees, Mr. Paul Turner, went home to our Lord this past Tuesday. We will miss him greatly, but are comforted knowing he is at peace. Please pray for the Turner family during this time. Paul was a great asset to our team and he will be missed.

CUTENESS ALERT!! Have you ever seen baby SC marsh minks?? Well, me neither...until this year. The SC mink population was greatly decreased after hurricane Hugo. DNR tried to reintroduce them to the Lowcountry shortly afterwards, but it did not go well. Now, the mink population is increasing and making a come back!! I've been trapping in the Lowcountry since 2012 and never seen one of these cute little guys until this year. I trapped a mama mink and her 3 babies out of a beautiful sailboat on Johns Island this year. 2020 has had its ups and downs, but this was the highlight of my year. The entire family was trapped out of the boat and taken to our local rehabber, Keepers of the Wild, and they will be raised there until old enough to be released. This, my friends, is what makes my job all worth it! ❤❤❤

The professional wildlife control industry is an essential service that is responsible for the protection of public health, food and property. We play a vital role in protecting our nation's public health and food supply. Wild animals can spread all kinds of diseases and bacteria to both residential and commercial properties. The importance of the wildlife control industry to our communities is an essential service that cannot be understated.

The wildife control industry is trained, tested and certified in the the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Our technicians routinely employ the use of respirators, eye protection, gloves and clothing to conform with safety requirements established by EPA and OSHA. We stand ready to fight against nuisnace wildlife and diseases and bacteria that they carry to help keep our clients safe. With Covid-19 on the mind of all local citizens, and the world, we want to be sure we continue to serve our community in our battle with the diseases spread by nuisance wildlife.

As an essential service industry, we will continue to service our community's residential homes, food production facilities, grocery stores, medical institutions, multifamily housing units, warehouses and all businesses. So sad...

North America has lost nearly 3 billion birds since 1970, a study says. It found significant population declines among hundreds of bird species.
