This Bonnie Kaye Studio x Paul Huxley x OFL collab was… our absolute favorite 😍 So much intentional planning, and exceptional ex*****on! We did an edit day to see what categories existed, learned more about the intentions for the space, and those hidden gems of research books and other treasures that we showcased in our closet styling.

Each closet is zoned for particular use cases. On the left, we have less frequently worn plus a seasonal wardrobe. On the right we have work-life. This features a scrub section, file cabinet and an additional deep drawer for travel needs. Tucked around the corner, in the left closet; are the Murphy bed sheets and blankets.

Sharing the Afters (then Before images) from this garage transformation to show the full impact. But most importantly, what this could look like for anyone else who feels lost or discouraged by spaces in their homes. If the “Before” images look familiar, the “After” shows what is possible ❤️

Our approach: We simplified this space by reviewing all categories of items with the clients, hauling away trash, donations and responsibly recycling everything we could.

To finish it all off: We set up zones for activities and memories. Prepared this sweet family for renovation work, leaving walls bare for now where the build out will happen. Post-renovation, the wall will be extended then utilized for more vertical storage.

Other systems included recycling set ups, and accessible tools. Everything else that was no longer needed, left with us. Clearing this garage, and the space immediately outside it.

Everyone has those spaces (even Professional Organizers), the ones that hold it all until we can’t handle it any longer. They support the busy seasons of life, they help us delay decisions and errands that we don’t have the mental space or time to handle.

Then one day, the heaviness lifts. You stand happily in a room you couldn’t walk into for months or even decades. A room that represents all the progress, achievements and quality family time it enabled while it held so much for you.

We couldn’t do jobs like this without the hard work of our clients. And often the hardest part, is making the call. Deciding you are ready and committed to the change. Ready for the “After” ❤️

From unpacking overwhelm to garage goals 😍 We loved helping this sweet client get her garage organized so she could focus on spending time with her daughter and saving lives ❤️

We unpacked, categorized, edited with her, then set her up for success by creating zones for all her garage needs then re-locating the rest. Including a “Holiday Hub” for her seasonal decor, grab-and-go items for some fun on the lake. We also set up a maintenance zone, gym, garden and puppy play space. With plenty of room left for her car 😊

I think it is time for a case study on the impact of organization and Airbnb bookings. With an additional concentration on the consistency of the client experience and a manageable investment and maintenance strategy 😉

Because this Airbnb owner is an amazing-human, who I am lucky enough to call one of my best friends… the project started with a deep dive of the current listing, competitor analysis, a new logo, brand evolution and marketing strategy.

Look at me putting my PR/ Marketing degree to work, in the city where I earned it 💜💛 😉

What an amazing weekend ❤️

I’ll keep you posted on that case study ☺️ And if you know an Airbnb owner in need of some organizational assistance…. It might be my new favorite thing. So swipe to see the old vs new listing photos and tag and Airbnb owner you know in the comments 😁

There are so many days when relentless optimism and Red Bull are what keep my business going.

Being a business owner takes a strength, that on my hardest days, I question in myself. I have had to stretch myself in so many ways to learn so many things about business, sales, leadership, bookkeeping, HR, recruiting compliance and so much more...The list feels endless.

This list is a secondary mental load, that so many of you moms carry in your homes and life. These are the things that my family doesn’t understand nor should they. However, it’s the understanding that is needed to continuously ask for the grace that I need to do the things that need to be done to run my business. The things that grow my business. As my days are spent working “in” my business. The late nights, the time and financial investments in the business.

Behind every business owner, there is so much you don’t see. They are working tirelessly, while maintaining their own homes, being present for their own families… while a long to do list swirls in their head. Deciding which balls are glass vs plastic, because they’re dropped daily. These business owners are questioning everything from their day, every decision they’ve made, while others sleep.

I believe so much in the value of the service we provide. But MY belief, is not what pays the bills.

As someone who follows/ supports my business. Things like this are hard to share but honesty and trust are foundational for my work. So, if you’ve been quietly supporting our business. Give me a boost today. Make that support visible.

As a consumer, your currency isn’t always money, it can be likes, shares, referrals, texting me that you’ve maintained your space and other visible forms of support. Think about the small businesses first. Because there is so much heart and belief in what we do and YOUR belief, is critical to our success ❤️

For those interested in services. Make the call. I promise you’ll wish you had done it sooner 🙏🏻

How to Declutter Your Pantry Like a Professional Organizer
A functional pantry isn’t JUST about aesthetics. It’s about less food waste, easy prep for grocery trips, and not being visually overwhelmed when making those dreaded dinner decisions.

To re-create this at home, you need a system! So here’s the exact pantry organization process we use with clients:

1. Empty it. All of it. Floor, counter, kitchen table, even bring in a folding table or two (like we do!). Pick a staging zone. You can’t declutter a pantry you can’t see, and yes, it is always shocking to see how much there really is.

2. Sort into categories as you go. Baking, breakfast, snacks, canned goods, dinner staples, drinks, pet stuff, “”mystery slime.”” or a sour dough starter?

3. Toss expired. Donate unopened. Anything past date or stale → trash. Unopened things your family will never eat → local food pantry. Know yourself, your cooking, consuming style.

4. Wipe every shelf. This is your one chance for a clean slate. Take it. Vacuum and mop the floor, get out a magic eraser, go wild!

5. Zone BEFORE you bin. Decide where each category lives before you buy a single container. Eye-level for most-used items. Kid snacks low (independence > tantrums) or should they be hidden? Special-occasion stuff: top shelf.

6. Decant only what earns it. Clear containers are not a personality. Use them for flour, sugar, kid-grab snacks, and anything that comes in a flimsy bag and would benefit from a “”Visual Inventory”” system (at-a-glance to know quickly when you are low). Keep canned goods and oddly-shaped items in original packaging.

7. Label everything you decant. Future you, your partner, the babysitter, the grandma watching the kids, they need to know what is flour vs powdered sugar... unless you like sweet pizzas. While you’re labeling, a simple sticker on the bottom for an expiration date works great!

To maintain it like a pro: five minutes, once a week. Re-front, toss empty packaging, restock from overflow. That’s the whole secret.

Save this for your next Saturday reset. Then come back and tell me the oldest expiration date you find. Another fun game we pros like to play!

If you’re scrambling for a Mother’s Day gift, we’ve got you! 🥰

You can give a gift that she would absolutely LOVE and support some amazing Johnson City small businesses while doing it! All of these are personal favorites of my mom group and you cannot go wrong!

🖤 Auto Detailing: .next.auto.detailer will get all the Cheetos and fries from under your seats, rescue stranded minifigs and other small toys, then will leave your car squeaky clean, no stressful streaks. Unlike when I attempt a washing 🤪

🖤 Mother’s Day Brunch: the french onion soup is something I crave daily.

🖤 Mom’s Night Out: is our mom group fav. Even more fun on dueling piano night 😄

🖤 A “Hotel Night”: also have for a full evening of relaxation!
Mom’s Night Out: is my mom group favorite! It is even better on dueling piano night! 🍷

🖤 A Dumpster! I kid you not, she will be THRILLED! Call your local waste management services to get her the gift that will keep giving her time and energy back! 🥰

Lastly, the ones who can help her fill that dumpster! Schedule a 1:1 session with one of our organizers to help mom get on top of the household tasks so she can enjoy Mother’s Day and all the wonderful treats!

DM us today to get more information on our 1:1 services, or full-team organizing for larger projects!

Mom friends: what did I miss? Commentbyour favorite Johnson City spots so I can give some shout outs in stories! 😄
