We're sure you've heard: Vinovium's Texas Wine Jam ranked 9th place in USA Today's Best Wine Festivals list.

Those who know *know* that Texas has been doing some incredible things in the world of wine for years now. It's high time people catch on 😉

The 2026 Texas Vintners Cup Top 12, a program of the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Uncork Texas Wines marketing program, will also be featured at TWJ — which means you'll have the chance to taste and purchase the very best of Texas wines.

It's trivia time: what does it mean when a wine is non-vintage? 

A non-vintage wine or NV isn't tied to a single harvest year. Instead it's a blend of grapes from multiple years, giving the winemaker the freedom to craft something consistent, complex, and greater than any single season could produce alone. Champagne  —  yes, that world-famous bubbly  —  is, in fact, almost always non-vintage in order to produce the consistent quality it's known for. 

Our NV Montepulciano Ripasso is another NV example: a bold, layered red that tells the story of more than one year in the glass.

And speaking of trivia: It's our monthly Trivia Night next Friday, August 28. It's the perfect evening to try out this wine and stretch those brain muscles.
