Tennessee's first and longest operating coworking community, since 2009. Located in downtown Johnson City, TN. Build a Community, be the Hub.
(1)

Spark Plaza is a coworking space in downtown Johnson City, TN. It was founded in 2009 by Jose & Shannon Castillo out of a desire to create collaboration and community among the mobile professionals of the TriCities area. Spark continues to fulfill that dream today, and is now a hub for both the entrepreneurs based in the TriCities and those just passing through. Spark Plaza has options ranging from 5-day passes to part-time and full-time memberships. For a tour of the space or any other questions, email [email protected]

#925 🩷 Dolly
8 years ago we opened the Dolly Parton phone booth here in our 404 S Roan St coworking location. It has the “one call” pay phone from the Nashville jail in it & has been helping our members take Zoom calls, record podcasts, & work from 9 to 5. Thanks to our friends Bristol Motor Speedway we added the butterfly sticker that was on the race cars this past weekend to our door.

Sorry, no beige.
Our coworker Austin M. fired up the 20+ year old iMac G3 today. Coworking was born when mobile professionals, digital nomads, & software jockeys started dragging their computers together at the local coffee shop. Here’s to thinking differently.

Milligan University is deeply intertwined into the community of this region, and as a part of that same community, our hearts are broken beyond adequate language. We honor the lost and damaged lives of the cyclists, and pray unceasingly for those being treated at local facilities and those entering into a deep grief.

We are reminded today, “If one member suffers, all suffer together.” So we are here to grieve, to pray, and to suffer alongside the Milligan University community through this devastating event 🧡
