Gallitz Grading and Gallitz Farms lost a good friend a few weeks ago - Frank Anfang.

Frank was a teacher his whole life...teaching his children and grandchildren along with many friends. He taught us how to work hard, be loyal, make memories, and many other things and many of life's lessons...lessons that will last a lifetime. The stories! Ahhh We hope he knew how much he impacted others.

We were blessed to have been able to see Frank at our community event here on June 24 and again in our office shortly thereafter prior to his death. Always interesting when Frank came around!

We send our continued sympathy and prayers to all who knew and loved Frank, especially those grandchildren who he loved so dearly. We know we will miss him.

Photo taken on Friday, July 31 and at that time approx. 3173 quad axle loads of fill have been loaded and trucked out to the ongoing project by the North Kwik Trip for the apartment project. Everyday there is anywhere from 8-12 trucks hauling. It looks really different here in the Back 40!

Our 'backyard' is looking quite a bit different these days as we are selling approx. 100,000 yds of fill! Our fill is going to the new apartment project just north of I94. Today Jake is in the backhoe stripping some more.

Elvira changed outfits again....it's time to 'make hay while the sun shines' and get to work!!

Elvira says to have a nice weekend...head out to the Jefferson County Fair or do something else FUN. Looks like it will heat up again next week so you know what means.......she needs to put on her sunglasses and fill the freezer with some ice cream treats!

Well folks.....it is that time of year again ~ Jefferson County Fair!

We are happy to support the youth throughout the County and we appreciate their in-person visits to ask for our support at the meat animal sale on Saturday, July 11. Being part of 4-H and FFA is such a great experience and these kids are learning such great life skills along with raising these animals and all that goes into it.
