Master Plan for a 150 acre hillside in Johnstown, PA. Our client envisioned a development roadmap for this dramatic, historic landscape that weaves together opportunities for recreation, community engagement, historic interpretation, and environmental enhancement.

Congratulations to our friends in the Charles Street Valley neighborhood and at Charles Street Area Council. The City of Pittsburgh has broken ground on Cross & Strauss Parklet!

Last year, we worked with the City, Charles Street Area Council, residents, and e.holdings to design enhancements to this beloved neighborhood park.

After years of advocacy and fundraising, the park is under construction. Old play equipment, safety surfaces, paths, and pavement are being removed to make room for enhancements.

Renovations will happen in a couple of phases. The first phase will be completed this summer, and will include new benches, safety surfaces, concrete paths, plants, picnic tables, and a renovated basketball court.

We’re currently working with the City and CSAC on Phase 2, which includes design of a greenway across the street.

In an effort to serve our ever expanding client base, we’re pleased to announce that we now have licensed landscape architectural staff in the Palmetto State.

A retired Westmont Borough businessman has donated nine acres of land that will enable a local nonprofit to continue expanding a park below the Johnstown Inclined Plane.
