I get to be so lucky to own my own business and make my own schedule. The work I do is not easy so when it’s finished and this is the beauty you get to drive and see, you can’t be anything but lucky! ( I’ve worked really hard for my 🍀 😊)
When people call or text it’s been so hard to tell them I am not taking on new clients. This is the reason for this post. I do advertise when I have a need for a new client however the handful I’ve kept have also kept me. 😊
When I first started out Almost two years ago, I was just a single mom of four, barely an education and no self confidence in my self I was so scared. Covid had just hit us and I really couldn’t work in the public any more with everything that it was at that time.
About two months into it I had 27 customers and 20 wanted to be regulars. I had thought about hiring but as we can all see where this gets us. (So many jobs open and not being worked, no one wanting to work and all the dynamics were changing drastically. And to boot how could I trust anyone to be where I thought they should be.
I ran my business and I was exhausted! It was the first year, I had never run a business before! I was working 7 days a week and felt like I wasn’t getting where I wanted. Fast forward to now.
*I changed my own dynamics.
I still am a one person show but I’ve selected my clients, and had to pass a few I really liked on to other house keepers and even some went with cleaning companies. ( or had to find another Cleaner)
So when This is the Veiw I see. I’ve worked my butt off to be here and I just wanted to share that with you. It wasn’t purely luck. It was a lot of trial and errors. A lot of failures and some success. We all have the capability.
