Most people measure their finances by one question:
“How much do I have?”
But there’s another question that’s just as important:
“How much of it could I actually use if life changed tomorrow?”
Retirement accounts, home equity, investments, and savings all serve different purposes. The key isn’t simply building wealth—it’s understanding how accessible your money is when you need it.
