Leadership isn’t about having the loudest voice in the room… it’s about creating a room where people leave believing they can do more, become more, and lead better tomorrow than they did today.

And let’s be honest… sometimes the strongest leader in the room is the woman calmly pointing at the problem while the men are still looking for the charger cord and pretending they “already knew that.” 😅

The world is changing. The old model of leadership built on ego, titles, and intimidation is collapsing.
The future belongs to leaders who can:
• build people
• communicate vision
• stay emotionally disciplined under pressure
• create opportunity for others
• and still have the humility to keep learning.

Strong women are no longer “entering” leadership.
They ARE leadership.
Not because of a trend. Because competence, resilience, emotional intelligence, and consistency always rise to the top over time.

Marriage doesn’t drift into greatness… it drifts into distance.

In 2026, relationships are under more pressure than ever.
Apps. Attention. Options. Distractions. Comparison. Convenience.

Psychology tells us something simple but powerful:
👉 What you don’t intentionally invest in… you unintentionally lose.

The Bible said it first:

“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21

If you don’t place your time, energy, and focus into your marriage… something else will.

Missy and I celebrate 30 years this December.
4 kids. 2 grandbabies, 1 more on the way & 1 fur granddog

And we still go on date nights.

Not because it’s easy…
But because it’s necessary.

Because love isn’t sustained by history…
It’s sustained by intentionality.

We’ve learned this the hard way and the blessed way:

• You don’t find time — you make time
• You don’t “feel” your way into connection — you act your way into it
• You don’t build a strong relationship by accident — you build it on purpose

Happy Valentines Week y’all!

MIssy and I went shopping and I surprised her with 5 new outfits from (yes Walmart—and y’all they have a seriously good line right now). We laughed a lot, filmed it, Video Cred Halie Lowery and played Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t she Lovely” in the background because… well, she really is.

Men if you’re reading this, it’s ok for you to admit that she’s really a big deal and the secret sauce. Do something a little extra this week, not because you have to but because she deserves to feel seen, cherished and loved on purpose. It doesn’t have to be expensive just intentional. A note, flowers from the grocery store, a snack—small acts stack up into forever memories.

We know love isn’t about price tags. It’s about showing up year after year through peaks and valleys, comebacks and everything in between. Missy and I have lived it all—29 years together —and we still choose each other every day
(quick side note: no sponsorship here & we don’t own the rights to the music —just two people who love a good deal and love each other more. Walmart had the perfect pieces this time— thank you for making it easy to make her smile)

To every couple reading this: keep choosing love, keep showing up, keep believing in each other.

QUESTION? What do you do when you’ve done everything right and everything goes wrong?
ANSWER: You keep moving forward. Don’t stop believing!

What Happened? We started this year ALL IN • SOLD OUT on leadership, giving back, helping others, loving, putting ourselves out there again, healing and being real.

Then What? While we were out helping others —our house flooded. 3 1/2 - 4 inches of water throughout our entire downstairs, bedroom, kitchen, living room —everything flooded.

What else: Friends rushed to help —some people we didn’t even know —took off of work, calling family members and these are people who’ve only been in our lives less than a year. Talk about God seeing everything…

Just as we’ve been traveling, helping others —giving back, secured food contacts and contracts for kids throughout North America & the Philippines —and just weeks from welcoming our new grandbaby — the house floods.

What did we do—we loved and appreciated the people who helped us and went to work today and encouraged an entire team and network. We laughed, we cried and we lived. We choose to keep moving forward. You can too, whatever you’re going through…keep moving forward.

The brown couch we talked about in a video a few weeks ago MIGHT be lost….

We walked down the stairs together with confidence for the solution acting like we didn’t already know the (busted pipes) flood happened —we trust PROMISES. 🌈

We don’t know how to fix it. We don’t know when we will get it fixed, we do not have a plan —sometimes that’s just life.
