🚜 POND RENOVATION IN PROGRESS! 💧

There’s something satisfying about watching a pond come back to life. Link Excavating has been putting the equipment to work—cleaning out accumulated material, reshaping and improving the pond, and getting everything graded back into shape.

The ground-level footage shows the amount of dirt work that goes into a project like this, while the DJI drone footage gives you a whole different perspective of the size of the renovation and the progress being made.

Pond work is more than just digging a hole. Proper shaping, slopes, drainage, access, and finish grading all play a part in creating a pond that looks good and performs the way it should.

When the phone rings at 5:25 PM on a Sunday, we answer.

⚾️ JAYBA 13A McMahon Earns 4th Place at the 13u A MBT State Tournament! ⚾️

What an incredible weekend for our JAYBA 13A McMahon team at the MBT State Tournament in Rochester!

After entering the tournament as the #29 seed out of 36 teams, the boys battled their way to an impressive 4th Place finish.

Tournament Results:
❌ L 5-2 vs. Owatonna Huskies
✅ W 11-10 vs. Champlin Rebels
✅ W 10-7 vs. Anoka Tornadoes
✅ W 15-7 vs. Cottage Grove Green
✅ W 13-8 vs. Osseo Maple Grove Black
❌ L 13-3 vs. Rochester Teal
❌ L 16-6 vs. Minnetonka Blue

Throughout the weekend, these boys showed tremendous heart, resilience, and determination. Every player made meaningful contributions, whether it was a clutch hit, a big strikeout, a key defensive play, or simply finding a way to keep the team moving forward.

The offense scored runs throughout the tournament, the defense came up with momentum-changing plays, and our pitchers competed every inning. Even in the losses, the boys continued to battle until the final out and never stopped competing.

To finish 4th in the state after entering as the #29 seed is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work this team has put in all season.

A huge thank you to our coaches for their time and dedication, our families for their unwavering support, and everyone who cheered these boys on throughout the season.

Congratulations to our players on an outstanding tournament and an unforgettable season. We couldn’t be more proud of the way you represented Jordan Baseball and JAYBA.

🏗️ Building More Than Parks — Building Community 🌳

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Link Excavating is helping create spaces where families, friends, and neighbors can gather for years to come.

Last year, we had the privilege of serving as the General Contractor on another outstanding park project for the City of Shakopee, and today we’re excited to share that the new Valley Crest Park is now approximately 95% complete!

From site grading and utility work to coordinating multiple trades and bringing the entire vision together, these projects represent countless hours of teamwork, planning, and dedication. Seeing children play, families connect, and communities enjoy these spaces makes every challenge worthwhile.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued trust and partnership with the City of Shakopee. As a local company, there is something special about helping improve the communities where we live, work, and raise our families.

Thank you to the City staff, project partners, and everyone involved in making these projects a success. We look forward to delivering Valley Crest Park and continuing to build projects that make a lasting impact on our community.
