Subfloor damage and the importance of making sure your subfloor is safe and solid. In a pier and beam house your subfloor is the foundation of your home. It is what keeps you from going through your floors and ending up under the home. We didn’t get to do the project that we are showing you but we did inspect it and as you can see the subfloor was in dire need of replacing. Soft spots or just holes in the floor can be caused my a number of things from moisture damage to termites. Some times it’s as easy as replacing the plywood that is there and sometimes we may need to go deeper and start replacing joists. If you have any soft spots in your home or holes . Before and after. Carpet removed and loose lay vinyl installed. I believe it makes a huge difference in the look and feel of the room .

From water damage to Restored. Took three days for the slab to dry out and afterwards we installed fuzion loose lay LVP I think it came out quite nice !
