🚦 Safety Reminder: Treat Non-Working Stoplights as 4-Way Stops 🚦
This past Tuesday, our team responded to an intersection where the stoplight was out—and we saw several vehicles driving straight through without stopping. This is a serious safety risk.
Remember:

If a traffic light isn’t working, you must treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
Stop completely at the intersection.
Yield to vehicles that arrived before you.
If you arrive at the same time as another driver, yield to the vehicle on your right.
Proceed only when it’s safe.
Let’s all do our part to keep the roads safe for everyone!

On Tuesday, we responded to an accident that took out a power pole—a situation that requires a coordinated response from many dedicated professionals. Here’s a look at the incredible teamwork involved:

-Our job: Clearing and recovering vehicles safely, clean-up
-Pacific Power: Restoring electricity and securing downed lines
-Junction City Police: Managing traffic and ensuring public safety
-Junction City RFPD: Providing emergency medical care and fire protection
-ODOT (Oregon Department of Transportation): Directing traffic, restoring traffic light functions, road safety, and cleanup

We’re grateful for the hard work, quick response, and professionalism shown by everyone involved. Thank you to all the agencies and individuals who worked together to keep our community safe and get things back to normal!
