Last December at HayCon I shared the vision for Hay X.

We are building it now.

We are working on AI assisted dispatch that will auto route drivers. There will be checks in place, but the goal is simple to make it easier to move hay every day.

One thing that is different about Hay X
My company uses it every day.

If it does not work for me it will not work for you.

This is not built in theory. It is built off real problems.

Hay X does not just track loads from point A to B.
It ties directly into your inventory and eventually your accounting.

Think DoorDash style ordering and delivery.

Your customers will be able to reorder, place new orders, and track loads.

When a truck gets loaded you will get a notification.
When it is delivered you will get another just like Amazon or DoorDash.

No more guessing where your loads are.

But none of that works if your inventory is not right.

Hay X Update

We’ve officially submitted the app to the App Store and are currently waiting on Apple for approval.

We’ve also completed the migration from V1 to V2. This week we’re doing some cleanup work, mainly around mapping and a few smaller feature improvements.

Last week our focus was making sure digital weight tickets and inventory calculations were working properly in V2. We found a few issues during the migration and those have now been resolved.

V2 introduces some great improvements to digital weight tickets. Drivers can now upload more photos, making loads easier for you and your office to review.

Our current priority is continuing to refine and simplify the weight ticket experience for drivers to make it as smooth as possible.

On the sales side, a simple POS system will be available soon. This will be the core way your inventory stays accurate.

You’ll be able to quickly make a sale and automatically generate an invoice. After that, we’ll likely move on to building the API integration with QuickBooks Online.

As always, I’m prioritizing what users actually want and need, and working to remove friction wherever we find it.
