What is YOUR purpose?
Some of best companies are consistently aligned with their purpose, values, and mission statement. Furthermore, each employee (from the top exec to the intern) understands the purpose and is fully aligned with your company.
The disconnect here is that most companies can’t clearly define their purpose, values, and mission statement. Therefore, the employees don’t understand and cannot clearly articulate their mission at work. Thus, we (the leader) have inadvertently created a gap in performance, culture, and success.
Leaders, you must be clear and create an alignment with who/what your company is, the purpose, and the mission. Each employee must understand and be able to clearly articulate this and how their role plays a part in the success of your company. Finally, your employees understand their personal mission statement and how their personal mission plus your company mission go hand-in-hand.
Once these things are lined up, your customers feel it, see it, and are even more bought in. SUCCESS!
But this all starts with you.
