Baron Sign Manufacturing recently fabricated and installed two 30-foot-tall illuminated pylon signs for the City of Doral. Located on the north and south sides of NW 36th Street at the Palmetto Expressway, these matching structures serve as a brand-new gateway to welcome visitors.
Building architectural signage of this scale requires precise engineering, and we handle the entire process—from site foundations to setting the final steel supports. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the technical specs for this project:
Site Foundations: Each sign is grounded by 14 cubic yards of concrete footers, reinforced with three mats of rebar.
Structural Core: The internal support utilizes dual 10-inch square steel tubes securely anchored with threaded rods.
Custom Fabrication: The outer aluminum structure was custom-formed, finished, painted, and fitted with internal illumination for clear day-and-night visibility.
