📢 Important Notice to Our Valued Yokwe Store Customers
We would like to inform all our customers that, effective immediately, there will be some changes to our pricing and store operations due to the ongoing fuel and electricity crisis that is affecting businesses and families throughout the Marshall Islands.
Over the past few weeks, our electricity costs have increased dramatically. Before the fuel crisis, our average electric bill was approximately $200 every two weeks. However, as shown in the receipts below, we are now paying nearly $200 in just three days.
To help manage these rising costs and continue serving our community, we will be implementing the following temporary changes:
✅ Some product prices may increase to help offset the higher operating costs.
✅ Our soda coolers and beverage refrigerators will be turned off at night and turned back on in the morning. As a result, some drinks may not be as cold as usual during certain times of the day.
✅ Some lights in the store will be turned off during daylight hours to reduce electricity consumption. The store will remain open and safe, but you may notice that certain areas are not as brightly lit as before.
These changes are necessary to help keep Yokwe Store operating during this challenging time. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of our small family business.
