Sandusky Transport Inc. & Azo Logistics Inc. Proudly service the Portage and Kalamazoo area. We are looking for drivers who are self motivated, efficient and safe. We offer full time, part time, weekend and seasonal driving opportunites.

If you qualify, we want you on our team!

Duties as a delivery driver:

Deliver/pick up all packages daily within the prescribed time windows.

Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily.

Operate delivery van safely, securely and competently.

Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.

Report to station at 8:00 am and organize daily load before departure. A typical shift ends between 3:00-4:30 depending on drivers efficiency.

Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 21 years of age.

Clean driving record - no accidents or major violations in 3 years.

Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.

Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions

All trucks are equipped with iPads running an application for easy turn by turn navigation. Paid training takes as little as 1-2 weeks!

Our delivery routes are right in Portage and Kalamazoo Metropolitan area making delivery quick and easy!

Job description:

Sandusky Transport, a Fedex Ground Contractor, is looking to add local delivery drivers this holiday season. If you like to be your own boss and are self motivated this is the perfect opportunity. You will be driving a transit/sprinter type van similar to the Ford Transit. Your typical day would be showing up to the FedEx terminal in Portage around 8:00 A.M., loading your own vehicle, planning your route and making around 100 stops. All deliveries are in the local Kalamazoo/Portage greater area.

Full time, weekend and daily positions available. Paid training will start around the middle of November and work through the end of the year.

Interviews will be scheduled on a case by case basis.

Requirements:

-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must be a safe driver
-Must pass a criminal background and driving record check
-Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

Pay:

The pay for this position starts at $15/hr plus overtime
