Alex Call says what we are all thinking
The Dodgers’ Alex Call called out MLB and networks’ coverage over “soft porn” ads playing between innings of playoff games.
Call who is not on LA’s NLCS roster, was sharing a viral X post from Taylor Murphy (Tay_Murph) who spotlighted no-clothes Sydney Sweeney promoting gambling and Megan Fox in a red bodysuit selling… “blood flow” pills.
Despite the networks selling ad slots, MLB does have discretion, “in its sole judgment,” to block any ads it deems “obscene” or “in bad taste,” among other reasons, as pointed out by Murphy.
“Parents shouldn’t have to worry about this,” Call wrote. His son “just wants to watch baseball with Dada.”
Murphy: “Just show baseball in a way I can leave on in my house.”
