This Earth Day, we’re appreciating the journey of our favorite beverage and the hearts and hands behind every cup. ☕️

With every sip is a farmer managing drought, a cooperative navigating uncertainty, a roaster sourcing from shrinking origins, a barista explaining rising costs. Coffee connects billions of people across this planet and climate change touches every single one of them.

We act like we’re in this together, because we are. 🌏🌊🌱

We don’t know too many people as passionate about and dedicated to coffee as Eric. 💫

5 years ago, he reached out to us to see if we were offering an apprenticeship. We’re not into unpaid labor, so we hired him to do deliveries. Little did we know that Eric was going to take ALL the SCA courses, pass his Q exams in one go, and go on to get his AST license in under 3 years. ☕️

He has become an invaluable part of our coffee community as a leader in education, a reliable technician, and one of the most down-to-earth kind hearted humans we’ve ever known.

To say we’re lucky to have you on our team is an understatement. It’s a honor to know you and work with you! We celebrate you everyday but especially today! Happy Birthday, Eric! 🎂

Many beloved farms in Hawai’i have been impacted by the recent flooding due to the recent Kona Low storms.

Machine neglect. We’ve seen it all: scale buildup, sticking solenoids, worn gaskets, burnt-out heating elements… and espresso that tastes bad. ☕️

The good news? Most of it is preventable.
With daily cleaning, regular maintenance, and a quick call to your technician when something seems off, espresso machines can run like the well-oiled machines they’re designed to be. Taking care of your equipment protects your investment and helps it last for decades. ⏳
