Loader Operator
Location: 315 Pioneer Rd, Kalispell, MT 59901
Pay: $26.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Position
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety-conscious Loader Operator to join our gravel pit operation. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in an aggregate, gravel pit, or construction environment and be committed to working safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move, load, and stockpile materials.
Load trucks accurately and efficiently according to material and weight requirements.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
Follow all company policies and site safety procedures.
Perform physical labor as needed to support daily pit operations.
Assist with changing, repairing, and maintaining screening equipment and plant components.
Help with equipment cleanup, greasing, and routine maintenance tasks.
Support other pit operations and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience operating loaders or other heavy equipment required; gravel pit or aggregate experience preferred.
Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks when needed.
