Love all the hands and the red white and blue!

In honor of Flag Day, our residents and staff came together to create a special "Hands of Honor" Flag Collage. 🇺🇸💙

Using handprints from both residents and staff, we created a meaningful display celebrating our nation and those who have served it. Inside each hand, participants wrote words, memories, names, or what freedom means to them, making each piece uniquely personal and heartfelt.

The stars on our field of blue hold a special significance, representing the 10 veterans who are a treasured part of our Brookstone community. We are grateful for their service, sacrifice, and the stories they share with us. This project was a beautiful reminder of patriotism, gratitude, and the many hands that come together to make our community strong. ❤️🤍💙

Advocating for the future of senior living! This week, our Co-CEO Julie Simpkins, Greg Douglas, VP of Government Affairs and Industry Advancement, and Karen Franklin, Senior Reg. Director of HR, traveled to Washington, D.C. for the Congressional Briefing.

They met face-to-face with federal lawmakers, including Senator Todd Young, Representative Victoria Spartz, and other key leaders, to discuss how national healthcare policies affect our communities on the ground. From tackling the caregiver workforce shortage to defending affordable long-term care, we are proud to ensure our seniors and staff always have a strong voice on Capitol Hill.
