Join us for our September edition of the Literary Spectrum book club tomorrow night at 6pm!

We've partnered with the Kankakee Area LGBTQ Network for this "bring what you're reading" style book club that gives q***r folks and ally's a place to share their recent reads in a safe & inclusive environment 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We have folks that read 20+ books a month and those who read one book every few months. All types of readers are welcome, celebrated, and encouraged to come, even if you just want to see what everyone else is reading!

We hope to see you tomorrow at 6pm ☺️

Sad day for the book and music world.
Dolly has been a part of our lives since we opened the store, and her voice long before that. We have (and will continue to) direct families to her free reading program.
We put the cut-out in the window facing 1st Ave. Give her a little honk when you drive by.

✨️MERCH UPDATE✨️

We now have a dedicated Dungeon Crawler Carl corner including all currently available hardcovers & paperbacks, the book one graphic novel & MERCH 😁

Last night at the Sunset Stroll we sold out of book one paperbacks BUT we will be getting more in two weeks! I'll be on vacation next week so I won't be placing a new book order until Monday the 31st. The store will be covered and open normal business hours ☺️

In addition, we updated the location and pricing for the Blind Dates With A Book! They are now located below the main front crate display in the new book section. Blind Dates will be:

✅️ Like New condition
✅️ 50% or more off the cover price
✅️ Published in the last 10 years
