💥💥 Band Tip of the Day 💥💥
One of the most important aspects when trying to book gigs is available music to share with the promoters. Get in the studio record your music!!! This is a huge one when trying to find the right fit for a line up. There are so many musicians who are willing to help you get that studio time. Literally every festival requires a EPK for submissions without that it makes no sense to even waste time.
Yes you'll be able to book some local throw downs but to open for killer national acts where exposure is higher you need this aspect to highlight your sound.

After your set and getting your gear off stage spend some time at your merch table. Fans enjoy interaction with those they pay to come see. Let them know at the end of the set you will meet them there. Many fans even in the local scene love autographed merch, set lists, and a few minutes of your time. This is a key way to get to know your fan base. It shows them you appreciate the support.

Personal social media posting ... Even with it being your personal page limit Political, offensive posts. We are all entitled to our personal views however society has become bitter and it can ultimately damage your reputation. We have all seen it in the National bands. Examples, Bad Wolves, Trapt ECT. As crazy as it is people watch and look for something to voice their opinions on don't feed into that.

🔥🔥Band Tip of the Day🔥🔥
When building a line up or jumping on a line up make sure the target audience is beneficial to your brand. Mixed line ups can be fun but in the end how does the crowd respond to it?? If 2 bands are playing together and you change your set to fit that genre you aren't gaining authentic fans because they may dig the sound at the show then look up your socials or go to stream your music and find you aren't the same as they saw. This is why networking in the community is key know the fan base for each as well.

There is some serious talent in our music scene on and off the stage. We are gonna start a series highlighting some of the amazing small business hustles within the scene.

Up first Appalachian Cryptid Metalworks creating some amazing art from scraps. Check them out and show some love.

Currently taking orders on existing pieces. This is the prototype for ACMW, named “The Rhodes to Nowhere” designed after the infamous Jackson RR5 V.

All pieces are named from Appalachian lore and cryptids, and places in the Appalachian Mountains that have supernatural activity.

Once again, I truly appreciate all the follows and shares and helping get this off the ground for me! Yall are the best!
