Hello! 👋🏽 Checking in for my little corner of peace 🤎

Time has been flying by and I’ve been intentional with how I’ve been spending it. I’ve noticed social media consumed a great amount of my time, so it was necessary for me to truly get back to “why” I started my business which was to indulge in more family moments.

In addition to the break, I’ve made some changes business wise which has been great. I’m focusing more on long term relationships and supporting clients who are in true alignment. This allows me to fully be invested which has a greater return for everyone involved. In the midst of this all, business is steady and I’m thankful.

Remember, life is short and living in your purpose is important while enjoying every moment presented to us.

My focus has been “presence.” I desire to be the best version of myself each day and the extends past what is shown here on social, which is why I’ve taken a break to indulge. My pace moving forward will match my goal not just for business but personal. Grinding isn’t cute but doing your part while staying faithful to him is!

I’m learning that what God has for me, is for me. My blessings will not stop because I decide to take a break. Actually, things become more clear because it allowed me to listen to God.

Business is still holding strong and I’ve secured huge client partnerships during this time as well.

I’ve learned to not get so caught up posting on social that you forget to enjoy your own life. Having a balance is everything and consistency can look different for many of us.

1. Clarify priorities
The best way to produce results within the team is so set a level of priority on all deliverables. This could be the deciding factor on the timing in which projects and or task are needing to be completed.

2. Provide guidance
The most efficient way to provide guidance without “hovering” would be to have SOP’s in place on how the particular deliverable(s should be completed along with providing additional information prior to starting the project and or task.

3. Communication
The best way to support your team is to provided a safe environment for open communication without guilt. You want your team to feel comfortable while supporting your business as well as confident. One way would be to provided feedback within a PMS while working on projects.

4. Manage workload
Managing the workload capacity of your team is probably the most crucial part. This deals with having a clear understanding on what’s being completed, timeframe, billable hours etc. Overworking yourself and your team can be costly in the end. This is something your OBM should support your business with!
