• Parking is located on the east side of the bridge (Hy-Vee Arena side)
• Free street parking is available along American Royal Dr.

• Please note: due to a graduation event at Hy-Vee Arena, Lot B parking will not be available

Please allow for a 5–7 minute walk from parking to the venue so you can plan accordingly.

Reminder: Upcoming community event hosted by the KCKPD focused on unity, community engagement, and crime prevention.

The 5th Annual Peace Walk will take place on Saturday, April 25, bringing together residents, community leaders, and law enforcement to walk together in support of safer neighborhoods.

Join friends, neighbors, and the KCKPD for a walk to celebrate the success of crime-reduction initiatives in KCK, and learn about new efforts aimed at fostering greater peace in our neighborhoods.

Esther L. George was president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and a member of the Federal Open Market Committee from 2011 to 2023. Her Fed service spans more than 40 years including considerable experience as a bank supervisor. In 2009, she served as the Federal Reserve’s acting director of Banking Supervision and Regulation in Washington D.C.

George currently serves as chair of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and on the boards of the Hallmark Corporation, Peterson Institute for International Economics, the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, and the Kansas City 2026 World Cup.

For this luncheon, she will share her views on current economic conditions, her role on the KC 2026 World Cup Committee overseeing the area World Cup efforts, and provide an update on the Kauffman Foundation where she serves on the Board of Trustees.
