What a special day celebrating our own Julie Sayers. 💙

Last week, Julie was honored as a 2026 Kansas City Business Journal Woman of Influence, surrounded by so many of the people who have shaped her career and story over the years.

Our encompas team was joined by clients, industry partners, longtime friends, and members of the City of Lenexa, Kansas Government who came out to celebrate her. Seeing that room filled with people from so many chapters of Julie’s career made an already meaningful honor even more special.

A great turnout, familiar faces, and plenty of new ones at this year’s IIDA Summer Product Fair.

We loved seeing such a strong turnout from the KC design community, catching up with clients and industry friends, and meeting some of the students who came out to experience the fair.

The Fortune chair was a definite favorite, especially paired with our encompas fortune cookies, and Accolade had plenty of people stopping to try its responsive recline feature.

What a day, Omaha!

Our third annual NeOMAcon was our biggest yet, and we’re still feeling the energy from a full day of new products, familiar faces, new connections, and plenty of inspiration.

We traded floor plans for bulletin boards today. ✏️

Our team joined volunteers at Woodland Early Learning Center for United Way of Greater Kansas City's Refresh a Classroom event, helping teachers prepare their classrooms for the first day of school.

Thank you to United Way of Greater Kansas City, Women United, Burns & McDonnell, the Woodland educators and staff, and everyone who volunteered their time to help welcome students back.

It's one more way we're celebrating our 20th year through our 20 for 20 initiative.

Some projects remind us of the true purpose of our work.

We were honored to partner with the MOCSA on a new facility that will support both its employees and the community it serves.

MOCSA's mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to help prevent sexual violence in our community. It was a privilege to help create a space that reflects that mission by providing an environment centered on safety, comfort, education, and support.

It was especially meaningful to be selected for this project as a women-owned business. MOCSA recognized in our team a shared commitment to bringing care and empathy into the work, and we are deeply grateful for the trust they placed in us.

Thank you to MOCSA for your partnership, and to our own Julie Sayers, IIDA, Ian Crawford, and Paige Ruzicka, Assoc. IIDA, for the care and dedication you brought to this meaningful project.
