Help us welcome Kate Frevert to the encompas Kansas City team! 👋

Kate brings over 20 years of experience in the commercial interior design industry and has built strong relationships across the Kansas City architecture and design community over the years. She’s a familiar face to many—someone who knows how to connect people, ideas, and projects to keep things moving.

She’s known for her people-first approach and the way she shows up as a steady, collaborative partner throughout the process. That kind of approach goes a long way here.

Kate lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband, Kevin, and their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, being outdoors, and hosting friends and family at home.

In her role as Architecture & Design Manager, she’ll be focused on continuing to build relationships across the Kansas City market and staying closely connected to the A&D community.

Education Project Highlight 💙

Recently, we joined Emporia State University for an Open House at its Nursing + Student Wellness Center—a 32,000 sq. ft. new build that supports student learning across a range of care settings.

Our awesome Wichita team furnished the entire building, including classrooms, offices, common areas, and simulation labs for ER, LDRP, and pediatric spaces.

Earth Day in KC 💙🌱

As part of our 20 for 20 initiative, we joined the Crossroads Community Improvement District for the Crossroads Street Tree Initiative to help put in native landscaping along 18th Street’s bump-outs.

We appreciate all the community partners and volunteers putting in the work to invest in Kansas City’s downtown, and we’re glad to lend a hand to make it happen.
