Take a peek inside the new 1.46 million-square-foot Grainger distribution center in SubTropolis.

The facility will be the largest underground build-to-suit warehouse in the world upon completion of its second phase this summer, and this week it was honored with a Kansas City Business Journal Capstone Award.

A Northland distribution center project may be the world's largest underground warehouse built to suit.

Happy Groundhog Day!

We celebrated over the weekend at the 44th annual Groundhog Run benefiting the children of Ability KC, which brough about 3,000 runners underground to SubTropolis for the most unique 5K and 10K races around. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Ability KC's mission and amazing programs!

A special thank you to the hard-working Hunt Midwest facilities and security teams for investing hundreds of hours to create a safe, secure, and fun environment for all the runners and visitors!

The 44th annual Groundhog Run was an incredible day of community and impact. Held in the Hunt Midwest SubTropolis, this unique underground event brought together participants and supporters who showed up in a big way.

Hunt Midwest was honored to receive two Keystone Awards last week from the Northland Clay County Economic Development Council!

One award recognized Project Gus in SubTropolis, a 1.5 million-square-foot distribution that will be the largest underground build-to-suit warehouse in the world. The other recognized Project SAS, a 306,556-square-foot, build-to-suit facility at Hunt Midwest Business Center that will serve as a new state-of-the-art distribution facility for a leading medical company.

We're grateful for the honors alongside so many impactful Clay County projects and congratulations to all the other award winners!
