Science Stars Science Stars offers hands-on learning experiences for primary students and allows them to engage in STEAM education.

Science Stars was created when two dedicated educators and mothers decided they wanted to instill a passion for learning through STEAM education. Katie and Mary Kate have always enjoyed teaching children and watching them grow as learners. With a combined 20+ years in the classroom, these two still find joy in what they do through this program. Science Stars started as simple experiments in the kitchen with nieces, nephews, neighbors and their own children. The excitement and curiosity that these experiments brought about solidified the importance of exploratory education. They then took this program into the classroom, where it is now a valued after school program for many schools across the city. It is through Science Stars that Katie and Mary Kate continue to learn about the importance of STEAM education and the benefits it has on young innovators.
