Sustainability is one of Växa Collective’s key values.

In order to live out “sustainability” AND show thanks to our clients this year, I prepared holiday baskets with secondhand books and baskets, with homemade granola and toffee made by yours truly. 💕

To me, sustainability means reducing our consumerism of NEW products and things we don’t need — so reusing baskets and thrifting books for a leadership book library fits perfectly!

Getting to work with non-profits has a special place in my heart since that’s the industry where I started my career!

Through a very cool partnership with , I got to work with on Emotional Intelligence training with their athlete leaders and leadership training with their management team.

Seeing teams strive to work through conflict, communicate their expectations and performance accountability, and cultivate a culture of psychological safety is such a joy for me!

So proud of my clients when they do their change management presentations!

At Molycop, we’re seen some super creative ideas for ways to improve process and physical spaces.

Change within your organization doesn’t have to be scary or a huge mess.

Using a change management model helps your organization:
📌 reduce anxiety and complaining from employees because they know what’s coming up and why
📌 roll out the change more smoothly because people understand their roles within the change
📌 regulate the pace of the change so that it doesn’t take forever to create impact, or see changes happen too fast — making the change feel haphazard and inefficient

Have you ever heard the phrase “play the hand you’re dealt”? ♣️🃏♦️

My Pawpaw taught the the value of sticking with hard times and finding a way to make things BETTER by handling the circumstances I’ve been given.

🛑 This doesn’t mean:
Do nothing and expect things to change
Let people walk all over you
Think small

✅ It does mean:
Get your head in the game and focus on
Think outside the box
Have the courage to inact change!

What a joy it has been to be a guest on so many podcasts recently!

This one was extra special — we got to record in person, because Brad Burrow is also in the KC area!

If you’re not familiar with Real Media LLC, you have got to check them out. We met when his company hosted a Top Gun Kansas City networking event and he immediately invited me to join him on his “In A World” podcast.
