Stitches by Steve This page was developed to showcase my work. It is my way to relax. I make quilts, confirmation dre Then it was Confirmation dresses and it evolved from there.

Started this as a business after I had made a couple of quilts and my Nieces asked me if I could make them a Baptismal dress for their Baby girl. I now do upholstering as well as quilting, making Baptismal gowns , Confirmation dresses, Wall hangings as well as wedding dress alterations. Please contact me for more information and pricing.

I appreciate all of you following my page. I haven’t been posting much due to some unwanted hip issues. But will be having hip replacement surgery soon and hopefully I will get back to quilting and other projects.

Pictures of my great niece in her first communion dress which I made for her. It’s made of satin with a lace border which I stitched by hand and the medallions on the skirt were sewn on by hand! It has a beaded tulle overskirt . The veil is made of the same beaded tulle. I spent several days cutting out the lace medallions and the lace around the skirt bottom. I kinda made up the pattern as i went . I am very pleased with the result! If you zoom in on the dress you can see the lace better
