Outstanding sale overall from the first one sold to the last!! We started the month of April with 1,174 head of cattle, and the market was on FIRE !!

Market Trend:
Stocker steers and heifers sold $3 to upwards of $20 higher on all classes of cattle !! With buying power being extremely solid across the board! We had 10 solid bidders in the audience, chomping at the bit to get cattle bought!! We are starting to see some northern buyers start making their way into south Texas trying to grab ahold of some of these yearling cattle with condition to be put on summer grasses in the northern parts of the state/Region!!

Packer cows and bulls sold extremely well with bidder action being extremly fierce!! New buyers coming in to get some of these feeder cows bought seem to have rattled the cages a little and made for an outstanding competitive market !! Top Packer Bull #1730 @ $2.20 = $3,806
Too Packer Cow #1255 @ $1.90 = $2,384.50

Stocker cows sold extremely well with majority of the cows this week being on the older side, but still managing to stay in the business as buyers are finding ground in the Northern part of the region to keep raising calves for a few years!!

Overall, ladies and gentlemen, the proof are in the numbers, black and white, we strive each week to make sure your cattle get put in front of the right crowd and marketed the best way possible!!

There will be 7 pair on the deal with the remainder will be palpated.

🔥 🔥 🔥 Hot off the Press 🔥🔥🔥

Another outstanding week in the books for buyers and sellers at KCA!! We gathered right at 743 head of cattle and the quality was deep!!

Market Trend:
Stocker steers and heifers sold steady with the previous week with a few classes a touch better!! Higher demand for grazing cattle, as some of the grazing country in the northern and eastern part of the country got some much needed rain ! Summer grazing orders are in full effect as well with buyers looking for a quality product to turn out this summer on their grazing pastures in state and out of state!!

Packer cows and bulls seemed to have caught some more traction, especially on the Packer bull side of things with top bull Wieghing #1715 & $2.15 dollaring out $3,635.80 ….. Not too bad for a Packer bull !!

Stocker cows sold extremely well with high demand for those heavy bred cows and wet bad type cows!! Pairs seemed to have made some traction depending on age of the cow and size of the calf !!

Overall, it was a great day to be a seller up on the hill @ KCA
