Today I am sharing a resource from a colleague. Enjoy!

Increasing Your Leadership Success!

Be at the Top of your Leadership Game!

My colleague Joanne C. Preston works with leaders who are talented but are blind to a major Hidden Cost!

Missed deadlines, preventable mistakes, and projects that drag on forever? It’s not “normal business
friction.” They’re signs of a workforce that has checked out.

17% of U.S. employees disengage, and up to 62% operate within the disengagement spectrum; globally, the numbers are higher!

Each disengaged employee costs about $21,000 per year in lost productivity, errors, and turnover.
In a 1,000-person company, that’s $5 million in revenue leaks every year!

Engagement isn’t a soft culture initiative. It’s a financial lever smart leaders pull.

Fix the leadership signals that drive ENGAGEMENT, and your people will perform!

To achieve this goal, download my short leadership guide to increase Revenue and reduce your stress!

Get her Playbook NOW before it Disappears!

Boost Revenue Through Employee Engagement shows 3 practical steps in just 6 pages to motivate your people and stop the $5 million leak.

Download the playbook and start turning Engagement into Performance.

Just as not knowing how to manage Google Workspace, Disengaged Followers can cost tens of thousands or millions of dollars! Discover my three-step process for transforming disengaged teams into engaged, vision-driven, high-achieving groups that help the bottom line!

I've noticed a wave of frustration among users regarding the new icons Google recently introduced, and I must say, I share their sentiments. As someone who relies on these tools daily and assists clients in navigating them, this change has been somewhat jarring. Just last week, I found myself spending unnecessary extra seconds searching for the specific icons I needed, when previously it was a straightforward task to locate and open my desired apps. This shift has disrupted a once seamless experience, and many of us are left longing for the simplicity we once enjoyed. Let's hope they go back to the original icons or come up with an intuitive design in the future.

Today is a day of deep reflection. My time in the military taught me a lot about service, but Memorial Day is specifically reserved for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The freedom we have to live our lives, build our businesses, and spend time with our families is a direct result of their courage. Today, my business is closed so I can spend time with my family and honor the memory of the fallen. I hope you all have a safe, meaningful, and peaceful Memorial Day.

I have a strict rule in my business: no chaotic systems, no messy files, and no digital clutter. But the reason behind that rule is deeply personal.
I have children with medical needs, and managing that care at home means I need my business tools to work perfectly the first time. I have to be able to step away from my computer the second my family needs me, without worrying that something in my business is going to break.
That necessity is exactly what I bring to my clients. I become your quiet lifesaver, organizing your Google Workspace so you can protect your own time, whatever you need it for.
Tell me, what is the most important thing you are protecting your time for today?

I usually prefer working quietly behind the scenes, but today I want to share a little bit of the "why" behind my business.

When I first started KRT Virtual Assistant in 2020, my goal was simple: bring in extra income for family trips and memories. Over the last year, that focus has shifted. Today, this business helps cover piling medical bills for my children. Because my youngest requires a lot of hands-on care, I literally do not have time for chaotic systems or digital clutter.

I need my tools to work perfectly so I can step away the exact moment my family needs me. That is the exact standard I build for my clients. I know we are all building businesses to support something deeply important in our personal lives.

What is the number one thing your business allows you to show up for right now?

If your digital workspace feels like a dumping ground right now, please hear this.

A chaotic backend does not mean you are bad at business. It usually means you are incredibly good at what you do, you are busy serving your clients, and you simply lack a proper framework to manage the volume of information coming your way.

Please give yourself some grace today. You do not have to decode IT manuals to get organized, and you certainly do not need to carry tech shame. You just need a system that fits how your brain actually works.

How are giving yourself grace?

The goal is not Inbox Zero. The goal is being able to find what you need without a spike of anxiety.

So many service providers feel like they are failing at digital organization because their inbox is full. But spending hours sorting emails into fifty different hyper specific folders is not a sustainable system.

Instead of overcomplicating it, try using just five core labels in Gmail: Action Needed, Clients, Finance, Personal, and Read Later.
When you simplify your categories, your brain does not have to work as hard to decide where an email belongs. You can process your inbox faster and get back to the work that actually moves your business forward.
If you want to learn how to set up simple filters so your inbox practically runs itself, we cover all of this inside the Quickstart Mini Course.

Let us talk about the software subscription snowball.

As business owners, it is incredibly easy to accidentally build a Frankenstein tech stack. You pay for a scheduling app, a team chat tool, video conferencing software, and an AI note taker. Before you know it, you are spending a significant amount of money each month on apps that do not even talk to each other.

The frustrating part is that if you already pay for Google Workspace, you are likely paying twice.

Google Workspace has Appointment Schedules to replace your booking app, Google Chat to replace your team messaging, and Google Meet with built in transcripts to replace your video apps. You do not need more software to run a smooth business, you just need to optimize the ecosystem you already have.

If you want a simple roadmap to set this up and finally cancel those extra subscriptions, my Google Workspace Quickstart Mini Course walks you through the exact steps.

Do you know that hosting a bundle can completely change how people find you, talk about you, and start seeing you as the go-to in your space? Most people think it’s just about growing your email list, but when you’re the one hosting, you’re putting yourself at the center of a collaboration, getting in front of multiple audiences, building relationships that lead to opportunities, and creating a level of visibility that’s hard to build on your own. Cat Griffin is running a free training on how to actually plan a bundle that does all of that (not just adds subscribers), and with the number of bundles she’s hosted (over 50!), she knows exactly what makes the difference. If this is something you’ve been curious about, you can sign up with the link in the comments.
